Bersih video need to broadcast to shuttlecock the accusations - DPM



KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 - The police should immediately publish video on their efforts to deal with illegal assembly last July 9 that can be used as evidence to denied accusations that the opposition claimed that the police violence.


Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the police need to act quickly as the alternative media and liberal bloggers have played the issue to discredit the government.



"So, to want to break the lies and distortions of the opposition, the police is ready withmaterial evidence, good video, public statements and so forth, it is best to put the people to assess who is at the right," he told reporters after a walkabout at the market in Raja Bot here, today.

He said the people were not supposed to hear from one side only, but should make a proper assessment of all actions taken by the authorities in addressing the confusioncreated by a group of people in the illegal gathering .
