KUALA LUMPUR: Police admit to firing tear gas and water near Tung Shin Hospital on July 9 but are investigating claims that they fired into the compound, said Bukit Aman Internal Security Director CP Datuk Salleh Mat Rasid on Thursday.
"We are not denying that water and tear gas was fired near the hospital.
"We will take action if there was a breach of SOP (standard operating prcedure),'' he said at a press conference.
