BERSIH 2.0: Witness Violence Police, Police threatened.



KUALA LUMPUR: Members of the Pemandu Committee on Bersih 2.0, Maria Chin Abdullah slammed the police for disturbing and threatening those who report police violence on Bersih assembly, 9 July.
According to Maria, he was informed of a witness in relation to the disorder, the individual may make a police report about the authorities fired tear gas at Tung Shin Hospital, on that assembly.

"This morning I received a phone call a witness who saw the Tung Shin Hospital were shot with tear gas. He is now the police harassed and threatened to draw his report, "said Maria.
Thus he urged the public and participants that have a collection of video recordings or photographs of the evidence the police violence in order to appear to give a copy to him.
"We also urge those who have their own set of roughness on July 9 to make a police report and give a copy to us,"
"We will Document the evidence for further action," he said at a news conference at the Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall, Kuala Lumpur (KLSCAH), today.
At the same press conference, National Laureate Datuk A Samad Said described the police action as 'terrible' and 'painful' when addressing the gathering is safe.
He said he could reach the stadium, but was blocked by the police before making a decision to Istana Negara to hand over a memorandum to the Yang di Pertuan Agong.
"I did not succeed but warned that hard. If we do not disperse, we will take severe action. (Warning) is repeated.
"As colleagues on both sides of me, also want to calm the atmosphere, so we had to retreat. I just want to deliver a memorandum. That's it, "he lamented.
Meanwhile, lawyer Haris Ibrahim, warned the police that the claims of Bersih 2.0 is the future and their children.
"The demand for clean elections and fair is also for you, because the police are the people. They need to remember that this struggle is about the future of your children, too, "said Haris Ibrahim.
